HISTORY
In 1967, your Emerald Society was founded by past presidents, Jack McMahon and Bill Conklin. The 82 members who joined that year are now considered charter members. Monthly meetings were held at the Lake Ronkonkoma Firehouse on Portion Road in Lake Ronkonkoma.
In 1967 our organization became a member of the Grand Council – United Emerald Societies of New York.
